Recreation & Wellness at Seton Villa

At Seton Villa, our Recreation Team works closely with residents to design programs that support their overall well-being. Our goal is to create a vibrant and inclusive environment where residents feel engaged, valued, and connected both within Seton Villa and in the broader community.

A key part of our approach is our dedicated kinesiologist, who leads a wide range of fitness and wellness programs tailored to meet residents’ individual needs and abilities. These include strength and balance classes, functional movement sessions, AquaFit, and one-on-one support. The kinesiologist also collaborates with our team to promote fall prevention, mobility, and active aging across all levels of care.

Seton Villa’s innovative, person-centered programming has been recognized at the BC Care Providers Association Conference, where we presented our work in reducing loneliness and enhancing community life through recreation and wellness.

Java Music Mentorship

This program promotes mental well-being of our residents as well as social integration into the Seton Villa Community. Mentors visit residents regularly as a way of mitigating loneliness. If you have any questions about this program please feel free to email Nellmarie at nuludag@setonvilla.com
